Homemade Gingerbread Latte

This healthy and homemade gingerbread latte is the coziest winter coffee recipe! Perfect for a cold morning by the fireplace or a Christmas morning treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups milk of choice
  • 4 shots espresso
  • 3 tbs molasses
  • 4 tbs date syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

Equipment

  • Sauce pan
  • two coffee mugs
  • milk frother

Method
 

  1. heat milk in saucepan over medium heat and add sweeteners and spices.
  2. stir until well combined and warm.
  3. make espresso shots using whatever method you have available to you (percolator, concentrate, Nespresso, etc.).
  4. froth milk until it's nice and foamy.
  5. add shots to your mugs and por frothed gingerbread milk overtop.
